40% Forage Beans
20% Regular Beans
15% Tillage Radish
15% Purple Top Turnips
15% Trophy Rape Seed
This mixture will produce a well-balanced mass food forage but food lasting from early season, well into late season. With the Forage bean that continues to reproduce even after the deer have nipped off the tops and regulars’ beans to assist with the heavy forage, but you have bulbs and radishes for the late season. When planning on planting, I would suggest planting a little heavier to help control the forage stress on the plantings.

PH Range 5.8 – 7.0
Location: Full Sun
Fertilizer: 300 lbs per acre 19-19-19
Soil Type: Well drained soil, dark rich soil, heavy soils, recommend planting ¼” deep. Be sure to roller back for good seed to ground contact.
Tilling: Light tilling or disking or hard hand raking
Seed Rates: 15 to 20lbs per acre
